            Greetings and welcome one and all to a tongue-in-cheek crusade in the Barony Marche of the Debatable Lands on Saturday, September 25, 1999. Autocrat for the event is Alessandra d?Avignon mentored by Katerina Affodil. The site, the Economy Grange, opens at 10AM and closes at 11PM (when the great djinn transform all remaining guests into cleanup crew!)

            Heavy weapons fighting, will begin the many martial activities planned for the day. Archery will be designed by Lady Aleeah Baga. More peaceful pursuits such as shopping the ?bazaar?, being entertained by such esteemed performers as the Dismal Players, The Baronial Choir, and The Consort. A bardic competition will entice the more peaceful souls. Along with A quest through the holy lands by the great quest designer Fin MacFie, Mistress Roxane The Tempting will ask for the "10 best things to do with a dead Infidel or Crusader. A feast most grand will be prepared by Mistress Aoebheil of Dun Holen and will include middle eastern and european period cuisine! Dancing, both renaissance and middle eastern, around a bonfire (weather permitting) in the evening will complete the day.

            Fees for the event are $10 onboard, $5 offboard, $3 outboard, half priced for children 5-12, and those under 5 are free. Prices will increase by $1 after 8 September, 1999. Email Katerina for information regarding reservations.
